From the wording in the article, it sounds like it was disciplinary. That’s the way I read it.

I’m not so sure on that from that article. She’d have been pulled or scratched regardless, because she obviously didn’t finish sound... but maybe they wouldn’t have used the word disqualified. May be... might be the reporter that chose the word.

Still undecided if that was a disciplinary action to disqualify her... The word they're using on the official site for other non-disciplinary 'pulls'. is "Elimination".

Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event Rules

Unfortunately, among the grounds they list for "elimination", lameness isn't listed.
