Most of the pictures looks like his stirrups are too long, and he's pushing back, which is pushing up the back of the saddle seat.

Hey y'all. I just got back from the doctor's office for my annual probing and mashing so I kinda missed out on all the Sonny discussion, but in my opinion he's got his saddle WAY too far forward. It's probably pinching the poor horse's shoulder blades, even with all that padding, and that's what's making him so unhappy-looking. The poor horse looks like he's thinking "Get this crazy goober off my back!"
