Naw... I'd let them out to walk around and graze a little every few hours. If I had a chance to drive it once first without them, I'd scope out potential places to stop along the way, otherwise, I'd do the best I could with searches of the internet for stables, fairgrounds, trailheads, horse camps, even just rural stretches of road we happen upon where we can find a spot to rest awhile.

It would depend on they type of trailer she has if I would untie him or not...

Straight load, NO, slant, yes as long as the divider can be opened, stock trailer, yes.

And yes, if you can find a nice quiet place to unload that would be OK, I just would do it at a rest stop off the highway, or around the highway...All the traffic, and big trucks could spook one.
