You are aware that Possums are a carrier of EPM. It might not be as much a problem in your area, as here in Ohio.

We vaccinate against EPM. There is a lady down by me that lost a TB last year to EPM. Very sad situation.

We do also. The QH that Alison uses for shows, had EPM. With an early diagnosis and treatment, he is fine now. So sorry, about the lady who lost her horse. I imagine a lot has to do with the immune system.
