Sounds like a good idea to me! I’m not worth killing today either. I’m looking forward to the big St. Jude ride tomorrow. It’s stormy today, but that’s because a cool front is moving through so it should be sunny and cooler by tomorrow morning. I’m meeting my riding buddies at 7:30 and we’ll pretty much be there all day. I was going to ride Ellie, the 2yr old I just got back from the trainer, but the older horses gave her a pretty hard time when she first got back and ran her through a bunch of briars and she’s kinda skinned up, plus it’s a pretty long ride and I don’t want to over do with her right off the bat. Bob is barefoot right now because he threw a shoe and took a big chunk of foot with it, my friend Elizabeth is going to ride Hope, so I guess I’ll ride Grace. Sometimes having too many horses is a good thing! ;o)

Enjoy that ride, it sounds like a blast. You certainly have a lot of spare horses! :-) Man, wish I had that problem. My trainer sprung something on me today- she wants me to buy Levi if she has to sell him when she moves. I was floored- it came totally out of left field. Well, it did and it didn't. I have been riding him and we get along well. (i.e. he's very tolerant of my mistakes) I do have a soft spot for the moose, he's lulled me into a false sense of security. :-)
I'm going to look at that saddle tomorrow. I'll let you know what I come back with. My mother is bringing my grandmother to watch me ride, so there will be pictures. :-) The funny part? Grandma is afraid of horses. Extremely Afraid. So we'll see what happens. (grin)
