That’s what I would think too. He brought it in, put it on the floor and just watched it like “OK human. DO something about it.”
Sometimes, if the “toy” just sits there and doesn’t move, it loses it’s appeal and the cat will just walk off and leave it. I’ve seen that happen before. But if it moves so much as one hair, it gets pounced on or flipped up in the air and then stomped on and raked with the back feet. :-/
