Pinging Hair to pictures in post 9960...
Hey - those are really neat pictures.... what a neat local park! Thanks for sharing, you should go someplace interesting for lunch every day!
It’s raining here (!) and the highlight of my day has been watching the horses fight over a bag of stale potato chips I thought I was throwing out for the crows.
HMMMMMMMMM
Don't I wish!
...watching the horses fight over a bag of stale potato chips I thought I was throwing out for the crows.
Apparently horses can't eat just one either. ;o)
A week I might could handle. 6 weeks would drive me crazy, unless they agreed to fly me home every weekend, and even then it would be questionable. I've never been there either. I'm a Country Mouse. I would probably be paranoid as hell the whole time I was there that somebody was going to mug me.
New York is a neat place. You’d be up closer to me. I’m only three hours away from NYC. I’d say go for it. What do you have to lose? If it’s around christmas time, that’s a fun time to go because of times square and the huge christmas tree. I went and saw the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. I have some pictures around here somewhere when I went around christmas time. I’ll have to post them. I wouldn’t want to live there, but it would be fun to go back.
I need to go to Washington in Oct. My mom might go with me. I thought about touristing NY. I think I’m going to pass on this. It’s too soon , too long, and too far from home. Sigh..it sounded exciting though.
~My~ Washington or the ~other~ Washington?
DC.
Aw... I thought maybe you were coming for a visit!
Welcome!... I had a hunch you’d signed up under the same name...
Saddle Club... - meet rockyridge, a lady from the Horse forum.
Well, I guess FR is reviewing posts now on new signups? I wonder how long that will take?
Well, welcome to the forum rockyridge, whenever your posts do show up :~)
hi all...this surely is new and strange to me...so it will take a while to get the hang of things here
trying to reply
not doing well on posting a reply
thanks for the welcome
Beaker - don't tell hubby about the western show saddle, he really wants one badly.
Frog - I loved the pictures, finally able to see them. You all need to hold on the guy making that possible. What a great thing to do.
Cindy, man I'm glad you're not going to NY. Not that I've ever been but I imagine all sorts of danger there for someone not armed and a black belt.
Hair, thanks for the ping :)
