They said it didn’t flood in ‘86...they did make a point to tell us! We aren’t required to have flood insurance.
I can’t imagine it flooding this direction...we do seem higher than the southern side.
Yeah, no more sitting around the computer in your underwear with bedhead and 3-day stubble. ;o)
You reach a point where the tooth pain is greater than the fear of the dentist! I think I hate the novacaine shots more than I do the actual dental work. Good luck!
Farrier is supposed to come today to put Blades shoe back on, we’ll see. We had to call him again yesterday and he finally called back.
Heh, I have a beard, so the stubble’s not an issue. But I did get pretty used to not having to get dressed until noon... if then. ;)
Dang! You'd think you live in Washington or something. Hair was having this problem last year. I think they set a new record too.
It’s the drill I hate...if they could just make them quiet:).
Thanks.
Becky
You expect it in Wa, not OK....
The radar map looks pretty clear right now. But I’m wondering as it heats up today, if that will kick up storms because of all the humidity...

You might want to just go ahead and have him reset all around since it’s been 4 or 5 weeks anyways. Plus, that foot was definately worn down pretty good and then I rasped it off a little more when I cleaned it up to put the boot on, so it’s going to be shorter than the other one. Just a thought.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the beard. They do make things easier, but you still have to keep them trimmed. My husband has one, and every now and then I have to get a hold of him with the clippers to keep him looking nice. Do you have to wear a suit and tie or can you just work in jeans?
That’s the thing about the weather around here. Most of the time when we get summer rain we get it in the form of an ear-busting thunderstorm. We just barely missed one on our Saturday ride. It had been sunny and hot all day long but started thundering just as we got within sight of town and by the time I drove off there came this clap of thunder that sounded like it was right on top of us. It scared Bob and Grace so bad that I could feel the trailer just rocking as I was driving away. Another girl wasn’t so lucky though. Her horse was in a larger stock-type trailer and her horse spooked so bad that she fell down in the trailer and then couldn’t get up because she was hanging by her trailer tie and her legs went every which way and she got all tangled up in the trailer mats to boot. They got her trailer tie undone, but they had to pull out all the trailer mats before she could get up, and of course it was pouring down rain at that point. When she finally got up she was fine, but it sure scared everybody. I was just glad that we weren’t out riding still when it blew up.
I don't mind the actual drill, I hate the smell that comes from drilling/grinding teeth.
It has only been 3 1/2 weeks. He is scheduled to come reshoe on the 30th
Good morning - hope you have a great day :)
:) If you’re alone on the 4th, you can just talk to me. We aren’t planning anything at all.
Ouch - I’m sorry about the tooth. I think a toothache is the worst pain there is, definately worse than a broken bone imo.
I can commiserate. I’m on my second week of vacation and now wondering how I’m going to get back in the swing of getting up a o-dark-thirty, feeding, showering, facing commuter traffic and no nap at 3pm :)
Have fun at the beach.
Deal. My husband had his annual state visit and he is swamped. The kids going to the beach. I’m ok with quiet time though:’)
