Not a problem... It’s all part of the memory now, looking through the pictures :~)
I pinch the lower lid out (gently!) and just drop the drops into the pouch formed by the lower lid. Then the dropper is pointed down and isn’t likely to clock the horse in the eye even if she pulls back. Do the same thing with the dogs and the cat and it works pretty well.
Consider it done. Just try to visualize him/her as an old friend and act accordingly and it should be much easier. Good luck!
Sympathy - know you’re going to miss him, but you did the right thing.
Good luck, you’ll be in our prayers, I’m sure you’ll do fine, you just might not eat much. Order something that’s easy to just nibble on while you talk.
That’s the method I use too, even on myself. It does work pretty good.
I used to do that before I had contacts. Now I just don’t care, just drop any old thing in my eye and I won’t flinch (this isn’t necessarily a GOOD thing!)
I don’t really do it that way because I’d flinch. I just like it because I can do it in front of a mirror without having to lean my head back and I can see what I’m doing and whether or not the drop made it in there. And it’s perfect for ointment. Just lay a bead down the inside of the lower lid.
. . . poor Finny Cat! I still miss him, what a character he was.
Congratulations:)

Question. The other day when we were talking about Shasta Daisy’s you made the comment that they could be transplanted any time. Does that mean I could do it now? Would the buds on them still bloom?
The one big bunch has just gotten to overwhelming for the spot. You can’t even see the fountain now, and the smaller bunch in front, altho it is blooming now and very pretty is just kind of not so pretty because of all the foliage behind it from the bigger bunch. I’d really like to move the bigger bunch, but I’d hate for it to die. It’d be OK if it didn’t bloom, I just don’t want to kill it.

I ~think~ if you moved them carefully and watered them good, they’d still bloom. They’re rather hardy.

gheez!
He looks wonderful. Is that the new bit?
Looks like some good work going on there. How did you think he did?
Yeah, I was wondering what the new bit looked like too. You’ll have to post some closeups.
You both look great in the pictures! :~)
