Yes, both the pups. The older dog we were not too sure of a home. I called the vet's office, where the one girl might have taken him before. Legally, I should return them, but they said keep it quiet too and find them homes. Our Humane Society won't do anything, but send them a letter. I am going to take a drive pass those people's house and see if the other pup is there.
Yes, they know where we live.
Wow, you have been doing some research. Makes me want to take a trip to North Carolina. Really pretty nice places on those sites.
You have my support either way :~)
If you do decide to let her know, you might offer her 50 dollars or so for them. Sounds like she has a lot going on and she might take it. If not then you could notify the HS who will follow up.
Yeah, it did me too. I'd LOVE to ride the Biltmore Estate. It's absolutely GORGEOUS there. 100 miles of trails ain't nothing to sneeze at either.
Just for fun, I did some comparison shopping. You know the "What you get for the money"
Home in North Carolina close to Ashvelle
Home in Warren, Ohio close to the same price.
Granted the one in NC has a few acres, but look at the difference in sq. footage...wow
Thanks!
WOW, that's quite a bit of difference! I knew property around Asheville was pretty pricey, but not THAT pricey. Dang, around here you'd pay less than $100,000 for that same house '50s era house and acreage. For $500,000 you'd get a nice new house on the lake!
Here's a listing from around here for that kinda money...

Check out the waterfront view in photo 6.
That's nice. Did you like the kitchen?
I really didn't like much of the inside of the house at all. It's too modern looking for me. I like a more traditional or country look, which I know is probably behind the times, but that's just me.
Same here. .
Copied from the Horse forum... I posted it there in the Hoof section.
Bay's being a little leery of her rear end after that ;~)
Let me know what the farriers have to say on the forum. I have never seen a hoof do that.
All four look about the same... and the whole cuticle is real thick and rubbery, like bathroom caulking.
Thank you so much you guys.....I think I will find something in this list. A woman at the barn told me to drive straight through, that it would be less stress on the horse, if we stopped like every 3 hrs. for 15-20 minute water break etc.
What's the consensus on that plan?
When are you moving him?
Our house should be ready in September so the trip from Ohio to So.Carolina is going to be made in ONE trip...too far to go back and forth
