Kids are not so dumb.
A man and his wife were on the couch in a Madrid apartment and he was feeling very frisky while the kid was playing on the floor behind them. The wife stopped him fooling around because of the kid being there.

There was a long silence and he father asked what’s happening now… The kid said the Rodriguez are making passionate love in their salon. The couple were shocked and stopped what they were doing.
"How do you know that," called the father?
I can see their kid on the balcony just like me.

Most of you heard this before!
If you want your father to take care of you, that's paternalism.
If you want your mother to take care of you, that's maternalism.
If you want the government to take care of you, that's socialism.
If you want your comrades to take care of you, that's communism.
But if you want to take care of yourself, that's Americanism!
Any government with the power to give you anything you want is strong enough to take away everything you have.
Some other definitions, which, while rather oversimplified, still point out humorously the differences existing in certain political and economic terms, are:
Socialism: If you have two cows, the government takes one and gives it to your neighbor.
Communism: If you have two cows, the government takes both and gives ! you some milk.
Fascism: If you have two cows, you keep the cows , and give the milk to the government, and the government then sells you some of the milk.
Nazism: If you have two cows, the government shoots you and keeps the cows.
Capitalism: If you have two cows, you sell one and buy a bull!
