The only fundamental rights a cartilaginous Fish has is the correct temperature of the oil in my frying pan! That danged skate almost got my mother with a chinese sea star, so I wouldn't go there....and your about as finny as a clownfish!

I was about to say that the only rights a cartilaginous fish has are the following:
1) To be properly cooked.
2) To be tasty.
I've had some bad shark in recent months, so that may not be as much of a jest as one would expect.
