Under computer control, all you have to do is input the desired dimensions.
It's easier to recycle the chemicals that it is to remake carbon crystals.

That's just a more modern and precise form of
stereo lithography that has been around awhile.

BTW, E. M. will result in a major revolution in manufacturing of mass produced parts as soon as the technology is efficient enough. I will have to be upgrading my MFG skills to keep up with it.
