I was thinking of that. Something along the lines of a Biefield-Brown Field generator though. Ionic propulsion using a large GeV differential. Should be a snap with built-in vacuum cooling and a few dozen nuclear reactors to draw on.
Of course, there is also the possibility of us figuring out how to create a "tractor" field that would "push" against space/time itself. It'd be like a "push me/pull you" drive that would open up some serious supra-light drive potentials.

Before you go dragging the Flying Castle off at a respectable percentage of the speed of light, I'd recommend you work out an effective shield against micrometeorites.
We do pretty well at repairing the occasional ten kilometers per second object, but if that's going up by a factor of a thousand, we're gonna be in trouble.
