Using the simple and basic food ingredients; flour, sugar, salt, water, and assorted flavorings, a wide variety of food staples such as cookies, sandwich-style pies, and small cakes can be assembled for as long as the "ink" holds out.
So you're saying this technology already exists? I've been trying to turn my computer into a 1,000 watt microwave for the last three months.
Suffice it to say, I can only burn cookies at this point.

OH, absolutely, and follow it up with red wine, garlic, and mushrooms. Youll live forever!
At least part of that is strong supported by the literature. ;)
I'd replace mushrooms with blueberries.

Butter, garlic, red wine ... and
blueberries!?! BLEAH!
My family made blueberry daiquiris once, when the blueberry bushes were producing faster than I could make pies, and that was gross!

Gross but very rich in antioxidants. I guess you could just go with carotenoid-rich stuff like apricots.

I’ve never been able to stand apricots. The smell makes me fell sick.

We have some blueberry bushes here, but they’re not very successful. They take lots of water. Anoreth makes blueberry muffins when blueberries are cheap at the grocery store.

My coffee is decaffeinated. Mostly because I eat chocolate like it was going out of style. NOT!

I can eat blueberry muffins, but the berries are very low on my Berry List. I’ll stick with the sauteed mushrooms and wine, thanks...

I like fresh aprocots, but I don’t liked them cooked, unless it’s been made into jam.

You wouldn't want to cook them anyway.

I drink white wine. I never developed a taste for reds because they are so heavy.
My favorites are Mosel and Rhein. :o])

Apricots get mushy when they’re cooked. I don’t like the way they feel in my mouth.

Heavy and sometimes nauseating, right? The only red wine I drink is at Communion, because the sulfites are just too much, if even a half a glass. I try because of the body of research in favor of the benefits of red wine, but I just can't do it. There may be more to the story, i.e., olive oils and healthy servings of tomatoes (lycopene) in the traditional Italian diet.
I'm not a wine drinker, by any stretch of the imagination. More often than not, I use white wines strictly for glazing. Lately--and oddly enough, I've found there's a German Franzia white wine that isn't half bad to the tastebuds.

"So you're saying this technology already exists? I've been trying to turn my computer into a 1,000 watt microwave for the last three months." In a manner of speaking, it exists. Not quite as I have described it, however.
Medical researchers are using modified ink-jet printers to print organs.
Actually, what they are doing is using the accuracy of the printer to lay down a culture of cells onto a substrate which may or may not subsequently dissolve. Such procedures have been used to make a mitral valve for a human heart. (Research is continuing.)
I don't think my idea of using this kind of technique for a vending machine, for example, has yet been developed.
