Temperature's dropping here, too. I'll have to wear a coat to church, and Der Prinz and Bill will be cooking the Cuban supper inside on the electric grill, instead of outside on the barbecue.

I got new running shoes today, and I hope my foot problem will subside so I can get back to training for Myrtle Beach! Vlad nibbled several styles of colorful running shoes, but decided his felt slippers (visible in his pictures) were okay for now. He'll be ready to walk outside in a few weeks, but we have some sneakers that I think will fit him.

Not far off--I was on my bike with my older daughter on the trail-a-bike, and my wife was on her bike with my younger daughter on a trail-a-bike....I had a flat front tire and almost dumped myself and daughter, and my wife's trail-a-bike came loose, as it wasn't attached properly...so much for bike riding for the day. We just went to the park instead.

1. Jane Fonda and her ilk need to find something productive to do. The bottom line for them is the money they expect to get in the future.

2. John Kerry and his ilk need to stay in the leftist country of his choice, and learn what "FREEDOM!" means.

3. Democrats, leftists and radical Muslims need to join together and be banished as a group to a place they can do no harm. Like the moon, with no H2O.

4. It's a long dang time to the elections, and I think I'm going to be suffering some major ear-fatigue before the candidates have even made it to the convention...
