The girls took off on me. Zon has some training to do with her company up in MN, so they got a second ticket for Ana and hopped on a plane at 5:55PM tonight. Should be somewhere over Dallas right now. They'll be staying with her Mom and Dad up there.

I'm a bachelor until next Sunday.

I've got two rooms to repaint, the cars to get inspected, a gun show to attend, a shooting range to go to, and possibly some spiced rum to drink if I can ever get out of work here...

I have been marvelling at the evil and stupidity of man.

I have been working to get another project off of my desk.

I have been taking some Voiceover training on Saturdays.

I have been using tools (oohh!! Oohh!!) to demo out a framed-in void space above my sons' closet so as to turn it into an open shelf area with a finished soffet above it that has two 60W can lights to provide light to the shelf.
[I get to do electrical work! Oh BOY!]

I've bought the material to build a separate bedframe with rails and a plywood bottom, set it up on the new shelf, screw it down and build a ladder to access it so my eldest son can have a loft bed. This will all be removable so that, when (if?) we move it can be taken out with minimal patching/painting of the sheetrock required.

I've been kicking myself for consuming too much of the "OH, my LORD, what's THIS?!" oozing from the halls of government via the MSM, instead of hainging out in here where rational though has found a home and it's at least reliably humorous.

I've been searching diligently for plans for a PVC pipe computer desk that I can assemble myself, and won't cost me an arm and a leg.

My ugly little truck got broken into two weeks ago. I guess besides drug money, they were looking to steal it so they could sell the chrome wheels for drug money.

Outside of that, I'm good! I've missed you, for what it's worth. We all have, actually.

The only time I had a clean desk was at work. At home, y'all better not touch the mess because I know exactly what I have and where it is! I clean it once a month...to file, throw out and review.
