Gotcha :)
Yeah...
That nearly 3 week break without any games in D-1 is a really good way to get everyone craving CFB again :)
So far ...
ok gotcha....
And TCU scores!! And the PAT is blocked ahhhh CFB how I missed thee.
TCU 6
Northern Illinois 0
The PAT was blocked....
If you didn't get your picks in, that's alright. You can still get into it for the next game. But for those that did, thank you and I'll post the list here in a second...
NIL +12 1/2 - dread78645
TCU (-12) - DeaconBenjamin2
TCU (-12)* - Scott Says
TCU (-11.5) - IOWAfan
TCU (-11.5) - CFC_VRWC
TCU (-12) - Commish
TCU (-12) - Me
Now on the spreads that are different, I realize that some of the spreads have adjusted some since I posted the thread. If I'm able to verify that the thread you post is actually quotes out there (and I trust you guys), that's ok....
Not yet...
I'm doing an entirely different thread for the OSU - Florida game.
I generally use this...

And on a GREAT scramble play and run by the TCU QB, NIU is finding itself in a pretty big hole.
TCU 13
NIU 0
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida center Al Horford will miss a second consecutive game Wednesday with a high ankle sprain and could be sidelined when the fifth-ranked Gators host No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday.
Coach Billy Donovan said Tuesday that Horford, who leads the team with 13.2 points and 8.3 rebounds, will not play Wednesday night against Stetson. Horford has worn a protective boot since injuring his left ankle in practice last week. Horford tested the ankle Monday, but Donovan said he was "nowhere near being able to play."
"We're probably overcautious with him because of the nature of the injury," Donovan said. "Sometimes those injuries take so long to heal. We just don't want to have something that's lingering."
Donovan left open the possibility that Horford could return against the Buckeyes, a game that might feature three of the nation's top post players with Horford, teammate Joakim Noah and Ohio State's Greg Oden.
wow I DID not expect this blowout...
NIU is usually more potent. (or they show up...)
Obviously TCU's defense is ten times better than Ohio State's -- if you compare yardage given up.
obviously
::: smile :::
and THAT is why I still hope Iowa has a chance against Texas, although it appears to be men playing boys... (Iowa being the corn fed boys)
Go Hawks!
LOL
I was a bit distracted....
OSU by 4 or so...
They'll need every big body to counter Greg Oden because Horford was their only true post player (Noah is a wing player)....
TCU 37
Northern Illinois 7
I predicted 34-6...
Here's to guessing I won't be anywhere near this close on the rest of my picks :)
I only watched the first half, but while I didn't see Garrett Wolfe make any big plays, he was at least pretty good at getting back to the line when he gets the ball 5 yards deep with 3-5 TCU defenders already having beaten their man and a couple of those coming completely free at him...play after play.
