These are the 300 players in the upcoming draft, sorted by position and first name. The final number is the ranking taken from the source page, uh, I think it was just the ESPN website.

some answers in Green Bay 0:08 · Wisconsin good to see you Mike how are 0:10 · you sir hey man i'm happy to be here 0:12 · thank you oh this has been so much fun 0:14 · um so first order of business is the 0:16 · last time we we spoke together you were 0:19 · going through the top uh 10 picks of uh 0:23 · of this year's uh draft you know and we 0:26 · don't call it a mock draft with you Mike 0:28 · here's what we Here's what we're call 0:29 · Hold on a minute put it up on the screen 0:31 · we're calling it the Mike Mayok draft 0:33 · that's what it is it's that's what it is 0:35 · it's the Mike Mayok draft and um you had 0:39 · Jihad Campbell going to the Saints at 9 0:41 · the Derek Carr news that it it appears 0:46 · he might not be able to play in 0:49 · 2025 does that affect anything you think 0:52 · in the Saints draft room strategy-wise 0:55 · here Mike i I think the only people that 0:58 · really know that are in that building 0:59 · and when they acquired Durk keep in mind 1:02 · that he had an AC joint uh problem in 1:06 · his shoulder in 23 the Saints are very 1:09 · aware about it were very aware about it 1:11 · um I don't think it's a surprise i think 1:15 · what intrigues me about it is that it 1:17 · just came out so publicly right now 1:19 · before the draft so I don't know if um I 1:23 · don't know a the severity of it i don't 1:26 · know b um how content or not content 1:29 · Durk is in New Orleans um I do know that 1:35 · New Orleans restruct restructured his 1:37 · entire contract to more cap room which 1:39 · means they've effectively married him 1:42 · because they already paid out the entire 1:43 · contract for this year uh al except for 1:46 · you know the the veteran minimum of 1.2 1:49 · million so I think there's a lot more 1:52 · behind the scenes than we're aware of 1:53 · right now and um I'm not sure it affects 1:57 · their their pick at number nine i don't 2:00 · think Mickey Lumis is a panic guy and 2:03 · right now I've got uh in my mind it's 2:05 · the top defensive player um they might 2:08 · go with a corner there uh they could go 2:10 · with a defensive tackle but I've got 2:12 · them going with the best player left on 2:13 · my board at that point on the defensive 2:15 · side which is Jihad Campbell so you 2:18 · think that um with with the knowledge 2:21 · already uh about Carr's shoulder baked 2:26 · in it's more of a you know and and again 2:30 · I'm I'm reading into what you're saying 2:31 · you can obviously tell me um it it's 2:34 · more of a Spencer Rattler versus Shador 2:37 · Sanders question than Derek 2:39 · Carr question you think Mike i I think 2:43 · at this point there are a couple things 2:45 · Rich one is what is the veteran 2:46 · quarterback market and it's decimated 2:50 · you know Cleveland signed Flaco this 2:51 · past week you know you're looking at 2:53 · what Carson Wentz or Ryan Tanahill at 2:56 · this point um the Kirk Cousins thing as 3:00 · a division rival doubtful highly right 3:03 · um and it's not just any division rival 3:05 · too man 3:07 · like a warm place would have to freeze 3:09 · over before Atlanta and New Orleans did 3:11 · anything right you know to help each 3:13 · other out yeah so I kind of go okay um 3:18 · at that point if they were already gonna 3:21 · take a quarterback at nine if he was 3:24 · available I don't think this changes it 3:27 · and if they weren't going to take a 3:29 · quarterback at nine I'm not sure this 3:32 · changes it either um because then 3:35 · they're reaching for a quarterback they 3:37 · didn't think highly enough of prior to 3:38 · that so um I kind of look at it and say 3:43 · you know I think those second and third 3:45 · day quarterbacks are in play for a lot 3:47 · of people mike Mayok here on the Rich 3:50 · Eisen Show okay so the Bears sitting at 3:52 · 10 on the board that you currently have 3:55 · set up what do you think they're going 3:56 · to do here Mike we talked briefly last 3:59 · week about it Rich and and I'm not 4:01 · changing uh my thought process i love 4:04 · Tyler Warren there um you know I I'm a 4:07 · Cole KT fan but I love both of them in 4:11 · the game at the same time i love a 4:14 · quarterback right now he's got DeAndre 4:16 · Swift in the back field uh he's loaded 4:19 · at wide out they just upgraded the 4:22 · interior offensive line and you've got 4:24 · to continue to help this kid play at a 4:26 · higher level and I think a guy with the 4:29 · unique skill set of Tyler Warren from 4:32 · Penn State does that he can line him up 4:34 · everywhere he's built more like a 4:36 · Gronowski than a smaller quicker tight 4:38 · end uh he he's not afraid to block you 4:42 · can move him like a Swiss Army knife all 4:44 · over fullback Y um wing 4:48 · back you know he was a shotgun guy at 4:51 · Penn State i'm not sure he's going to be 4:52 · in the shotgun at there but at the end 4:55 · of the day I love the fit okay now the 4:58 · 49ers are sitting there at 11 yep what 5:00 · do you think they are going to do here 5:03 · Mike you know this is a season of 5:06 · transition for them they've let go a lot 5:08 · of highric veterans um they in free 5:11 · agency they signed a lot of kind of 5:14 · rotational backups not starters so this 5:17 · draft with a they've got 11 picks in 5:19 · this draft two in the third two in the 5:22 · fourth this is a kind of a huge draft in 5:26 · their franchise right now they've got to 5:28 · take advantage of it i think they look 5:30 · at this and they go "Okay um what do we 5:33 · need here dline O line for sure but no 5:37 · corners are off the board." And I think 5:39 · you can look at Will Johnson and I think 5:40 · you can look at Jade Baron and I think 5:43 · Baron with the versatility of playing 5:45 · outside or nickel and being a little 5:48 · cleaner he's run his 40 he's done all 5:51 · the things that Will Johnson have hasn't 5:53 · coming off injury i like Jade Baron at 5:57 · that point to San Francisco so you think 5:59 · that would be the choice there um and 6:02 · the fact that Baron has done all of it 6:04 · and he's given a clearer picture is what 6:07 · wins the day there all right now the 6:10 · Cowboys are on the clock mike Mayok what 6:13 · happens with the Dallas Cowboys here 12 6:17 · oh boy dallas has uh 10 picks nobody in 6:20 · the fourth um obviously I think they 6:24 · have four needs corner defensive tackle 6:26 · running back wide out um I think they 6:30 · could trade down but the ability to sit 6:32 · here and stick and pick and augment what 6:36 · they have already with CD Lamb I'm going 6:39 · with Matthew Golden you like that you go 6:42 · and why Golden over say Omarian Hampton 6:45 · here what do you think there 6:48 · uh I think Golden I I love Omar and 6:51 · Hampton and I think the running back 6:53 · class is so deep you can come back 6:56 · around in the second or third round and 6:58 · get a running back that you love so I'm 7:01 · not worried about them finding a running 7:04 · back even though Hampton's a 7:05 · consideration for me if Genty was here I 7:08 · might be more tempted but the ability to 7:10 · sit here and take the first wide 7:12 · receiver in the draft and put every team 7:15 · in the league especially the those NFC 7:18 · East rivals on notice that now we got 7:20 · two guys that can fly we got two guys 7:23 · that can run routes we you know this 7:25 · this kid ran 429 he's quick he catches 7:29 · everything he's an advanced route runner 7:31 · you line him up with CD Lamb um I think 7:34 · there's a different look next year with 7:37 · those two lining up wide okay so now the 7:40 · Miami Dolphins are on the clock at 13th 7:43 · overall and I'm wondering if this might 7:47 · um also include the news today the 7:51 · wrinkle that the Dolphins and Jaylen 7:54 · Ramsay appear to be on the outs and 7:57 · willing to separate and give Ramsay an 8:00 · opportunity to find a different place of 8:02 · employment would this be now the 8:04 · Michigan corner Will Johnson if that 8:06 · does happen or or no mike I I think Will 8:10 · Johnson is is uh in play regardless um 8:15 · obviously if if the plan is to move on 8:18 · and in that building if if something 8:20 · happens and they're able to move on and 8:21 · and generate draft picks um it'd be 8:24 · interesting to see what the picks are 8:26 · they get for a 31 year old guy he's 8:29 · guaranteed I forget 25 26 million I 8:32 · think this year 8:35 · um I I I they would still need I mean to 8:39 · be really honest um I I kind of went I I 8:44 · I thought thought that through i almost 8:46 · gave him Will Johnson i said you know 8:48 · what the most important thing for this 8:50 · team is keeping Tua upright and they 8:55 · lost Laramie Tonsel to retirement and by 8:57 · the way Tua was a better quarterback 8:59 · when Tonsel was on the field so they 9:02 · lose Tonsel um I don't like their 9:04 · offensive line i haven't for the last 9:06 · few years they've invested some draft 9:09 · capital but it hasn't worked out the way 9:11 · they had hoped i'm looking at and and 9:14 · this is probably higher than most people 9:16 · because I love this kid but I'm looking 9:18 · at um Grace Ael North Dakota State who 9:22 · can play all five positions uh they can 9:24 · line him up at tackle uh they can kick 9:26 · him inside the guard or center i think 9:29 · this kid is smart i think he's intensely 9:32 · tough and they need some of that on that 9:34 · offensive line uh they need to kickstart 9:37 · that that run game last year that really 9:40 · struggled but most importantly they got 9:43 · to keep Tua up and people off of him i'm 9:46 · going Zable yeah i mean uh I think you 9:48 · were referring to Terron Armstead uh the 9:50 · the lineman no no all good no um all 9:53 · good so Zable going to the Dolphins that 9:58 · would be fascinating so then now you got 10:00 · the Colts at 14 and I know a lot of 10:03 · folks have been basically Sharpieing 10:04 · Colston Loveland in there would you be 10:06 · the same you put him there too yeah I 10:08 · think they were probably disappointed 10:10 · that um Tyler Warren went at 10 to 10:13 · Chicago i I've got a grade on Lovelin 10:16 · that's only slightly below 10:19 · um and I think some people are saying 10:21 · "What about interior offensive line we 10:23 · lost Will Freeze we lost Ryan Kelly both 10:26 · to Minnesota um but at this point um the 10:30 · quarterback situation is unsettled you 10:32 · need a weapon and that is your your 10:34 · Michigan guy colston Lovelin at 14 um 10:38 · really good hands big long guy can get 10:41 · down the field run verticals very 10:43 · effective at all three levels can beat 10:45 · man coverage understands and and knows 10:48 · how where to fit in versus zone and 10:52 · while he's not a people mover he's 10:54 · effective enough as a blocker that you 10:56 · can line him up in a lot of different 10:58 · positions you don't want to just sit him 10:59 · in a Y and tell them to block down on 11:02 · 300 pounders but he can be an effective 11:04 · and efficient blocker the Atlanta 11:06 · Falcons sitting there at 15 do what do 11:08 · you think Mike i think they they need an 11:10 · edge you know and and by the way I 11:12 · thought about it what year is it Mike 11:14 · yeah you know I mean that sounds like 11:18 · we've heard that story before for the 11:20 · Falcons yeah i mean I I was tempted to 11:23 · give him Will Johnson um to line up 11:26 · across from Terrell uh but at the end of 11:30 · the day Mike Mike Green from Marshall 11:33 · has a similar grade and they have a 11:35 · higher need there so Mike Green for me 11:39 · quick twitchy tough kid um I'm going to 11:43 · give them to Atlanta and they've they've 11:44 · needed that for a long time now so Will 11:47 · Johnson still sitting there now halfway 11:49 · through the first round is is that 11:51 · Arizona's gain or or you think we still 11:53 · we still keep him on the board here Mike 11:56 · i really like the pick I gave Arizona 11:58 · and his name is not Will Johnson um I 12:01 · gave him Kelvin Banks from Texas and to 12:04 · me uh I love the fact that he could 12:08 · probably he can kick inside and play 12:10 · guard year one and then don't forget 12:13 · that uh they've got a tackle out there 12:16 · jonah Williams who is getting old and 12:19 · he's last year of his contract kelvin 12:21 · Banks can start inside kick outside to 12:23 · right tackle which I think he can play 12:25 · either position at a high level and uh I 12:28 · think he he gives them what they need uh 12:31 · in that offensive line and for Kyler 12:33 · Murray okay Cincinnati sitting at 17 as 12:35 · we work through the middle of this draft 12:38 · nine days before it with Mike Mayok here 12:40 · on the Rich Eisen Show what do the what 12:42 · do the Bengals do at 17 uh regardless of 12:46 · Trey Hendrickson whether they sign him 12:49 · prior to the draft or not um I'm going 12:51 · James Pierce from the University of 12:53 · Tennessee um he'd fit in great with a 12:57 · rotation with Hendrickson uh he his 13:00 · upside is outstanding he's long he's one 13:03 · of the twitchiest players in this draft 13:05 · he can push a pocket he's stronger than 13:07 · people think even though he will develop 13:09 · more power at the point of attack um I 13:12 · think he's a guy there's been some 13:13 · rumors off the field stuff but I think 13:16 · he's a guy to come in and perform at a 13:18 · high level year one for Cincinnati all 13:20 · right now Seattle's sitting at 18 yeah 13:23 · what are you 10 picks five of the first 13:26 · 92 they could be an active team in this 13:29 · draft they could be another team that 13:31 · could sit there at the end of one and 13:33 · come back up into it if there was 13:35 · somebody of interest they've got two 13:37 · twos and two threes and obviously 13:40 · they're they're in a they're they're 13:42 · ready to go they they trade they've got 13:44 · Sam Darnold they moved a couple primary 13:46 · people Gino Smith and and a highlevel 13:49 · wide out to get the extra two and three 13:51 · um so they're going to have a lot to say 13:53 · about the first two days in this draft 13:55 · or but if they stick and pick I I really 13:58 · like this pick also it's Tyler Booker 14:00 · the guard from Alabama um they got two 14:04 · highlevel running backs and they weren't 14:06 · able to run the football last year this 14:08 · is the quintessential people mover big 14:11 · butt big legs drive blocker good pass 14:15 · protector um I I think he fits 14:18 · everything they need and if Booker's 14:21 · sitting there at 18 they take him all 14:23 · right so two more to go here in your 10 14:25 · through 20 of the Mike May O draft here 14:29 · uh on the Rich Eisen Show the Tampa Bay 14:31 · Buccaneers at 19 do what yeah I mean 14:34 · Jamal Dean at corner can't stay healthy 14:37 · good corner but he's he's hurt a lot and 14:39 · they can't believe that Will Johnson 14:41 · fell into their lap i bet at number 19 14:44 · Tampa Bay takes another Michigan guy 14:48 · Will Johnson at corner so why do you 14:50 · think he drops to 19 again because again 14:52 · I mean when he was you know healthy and 14:55 · crushing it for team 144 and winning it 14:58 · all i mean we were talking about him as 14:59 · a top five potentially you know I I've 15:03 · got there there are two things and I 15:04 · keep hearing it around the league and 15:06 · you know one is um there's a little bit 15:09 · of a lack of speed and that's okay okay 15:12 · i mean he doesn't have to run 15:14 · 439 but the fact that he didn't run a 40 15:20 · um bothers some teams um I had him as 15:24 · kind of a 455 guy on tape i think most 15:27 · teams will be in that range plus or 15:29 · minus 455 um so he doesn't have elite 15:34 · speed and I thought this year as a 15:37 · tackler it was a below level performance 15:40 · and his physicality worries me lack of 15:44 · physicality I should say um and even 15:46 · though he was healthy his first two 15:48 · years this year he had three different 15:49 · injuries i mean it started with a 15:51 · shoulder missed time then it was the 15:53 · turf toe missed a lot of time and 15:55 · finally it was the hamstring and he 15:57 · didn't you know he didn't work out at 15:59 · the combine he came back and had a 16:01 · separate workout later and did a lot of 16:02 · drills but no 40 so um I think there are 16:06 · some teams that have some questions 16:08 · mainly around the lack of physicality 16:10 · and the overall uh overall speed all 16:14 · right and then lastly for us today 16:16 · Denver at 20 what a what a fascinating 16:19 · pick this is going to be for a team that 16:21 · made the playoffs and Shawn Payeyton's 16:23 · got his quarterback and I'm just 16:25 · wondering with all the potential extra 16:27 · weapons now on the board for Knicks they 16:29 · go ahead and get get the the Joker we 16:32 · keep on always hearing that for him uh 16:34 · for Shawn Peyton he likes the the 16:36 · matchup problem nicknamed Joker type 16:38 · player does that player get selected 16:40 · here or or no mike what do you think 16:42 · well I'm not sure which Joker you have 16:44 · here um but I agree with your premise 16:47 · that you you do everything you can to 16:50 · buttress the young quarterback um and in 16:53 · this case I thought long and hard about 16:55 · Omar and Hampton um but at the end of 16:58 · the day same thing um felt like they 17:02 · signed some guys in free agency during 17:04 · the offseason and feel like they can get 17:06 · a quality young running back in the 17:08 · second round at number 51 uh they might 17:11 · get one of those Ohio State kids both of 17:13 · whom I really like so um I've got him 17:16 · with wide receiver number two T McMillan 17:19 · and uh who knows what's going to happen 17:22 · with some of the contracts with their 17:24 · current wide outs uh I think Sutton's 17:27 · runs out the end of this year or next 17:29 · year uh this is a big body guy plucks 17:32 · the ball with ease all over big radius 17:35 · uh love love his ability to separate 17:37 · with length and physicality um I think 17:40 · he fits in with what they do and how 17:42 · they do it and it gives another weapon 17:44 · as you said to Bo Nicks the young 17:46 · quarterback i I think that would be um a 17:50 · cartwheel type moment for a lot of 17:51 · Denver Bronco fans um I couldn't help 17:54 · but notice again now that we're through 17:55 · 20 picks of your Mike May Odraft 17:59 · um that uh uh still no Shadore um and 18:03 · again not not to not to not to peek at 18:06 · maybe what uh next week's final 12 picks 18:09 · here or 13 picks would would the 18:11 · Steelers go for him 21st overall if that 18:13 · happens two Thursdays from now first of 18:15 · all first of all we're not going to peek 18:17 · ahead to number 21 18:20 · okay that that that's a typical Rich 18:22 · Eisen 18:25 · lowkey okay just Hey just give me one 18:27 · hey Mike just while we're talking about 18:28 · it and I knew coming in that the first 18:31 · question would be about Shadore i just 18:33 · didn't know you try I just didn't know 18:35 · you were going to try to sneak 18:36 · Pittsburgh in on me yeah you know yeah 18:37 · just you know but yeah I you know what I 18:40 · thought of I I had a couple different 18:42 · scenarios as I worked through this mock 18:45 · um where I had I tried to to get some 18:48 · teams to move up to 19 or 20 ahead of 18:50 · Pittsburgh right and make a move and and 18:53 · ultimately like I had the Giants and bas 18:55 · I went as far as having the Giants move 18:57 · from 34 to 20 for a third round pick and 19:00 · a swap of five and six round pick so I 19:02 · mean I looked into it i thought through 19:04 · the process and at the end of the day 19:09 · um who needs a quarterback you know the 19:12 · Giants Cleveland uh maybe New Orleans at 19:16 · that point um Pittsburgh who knows 19:20 · um I just don't think with one 19:24 · quarterback gone at this point in this 19:26 · mock draft there is any immediate 19:29 · urgency to go up and get the second one 19:31 · especially think since I think a lot of 19:34 · teams around the league have similar 19:35 · grades for Jackson Dart and Shador 19:38 · Sanders 19:39 · how what what was the um the the freight 19:42 · for moving up from 34 to 20 what would 19:45 · that freight be that you mentioned i had 19:47 · uh the Giants third round pick which was 19:49 · 65 19:51 · and a 56 swap in other words Denver um 19:55 · listen would get I I yeah I know third 19:58 · round pick is is is a is a good one but 20:01 · that doesn't sound terribly expensive to 20:02 · me even if Cleveland's interested in 20:04 · doing something like that from 33 to 20 20:06 · you know what I mean like that Yeah you 20:09 · just got to find a partner willing to 20:11 · pop out of the first round and go to the 20:13 · top of round two um which is a tall 20:16 · order in in and of itself uh Mike we'll 20:19 · chat next week thanks for the time 20:20 · brother you're the best appreciate it 20:22 · Rich thank you the one and only Mike 20:23 · Mayok right here on the Rich Eisen Show
I had an earlier version but Notepad took a dump, I turned the air blue, probably shouldn't have **** some holes through the monitor, but I needed to paint in here anyway.
This is actually a test for the Brave browser AI search response, using the team name and "2025 draft needs" to get a little report. Problems arose when I got conflicts between what the search engine said and what the draft list said the position was, that kind of thing. Also, in the first, lost go-round, I had two teams needing Centers, and found, hmm, one? zero? this time through.
However, the overall thrust is the same, it'll be an offense-heavy first round, but I see only one QB, with Sanders going at the beginning of the second round.
Round 1
1) Tennessee Titans QB Cam Ward 2) Cleveland Browns CB Travis Hunter 3) New York Giants OT Armand Membou (or Simmons; QB needs will be filled later in the draft) 4) New England Patriots OT Josh Simmons (or Campbell) 5) Jacksonville Jaguars OT DT Mason Graham 6) Las Vegas Raiders WR Tetairoa McMillan (they need a CB, but there will be good ones in later rounds; QB Quinn Ewers has expressed interest in joining the Raiders) 7) New York Jets OT Will Campbell 8) Carolina Panthers EDGE Abdul Carter 9) New Orleans Saints RB Ashton Jeanty 10) Chicago Bears S Malaki Starks (a lot of RBs in this draft, they'll add one in later picks) 11) San Francisco 49ers DT Kenneth Grant 12) Dallas Cowboys CB Quincy Riley 13) Miami Dolphins OG Tyler Booker 14) Indianapolis Colts TE Tyler Warren 15) Atlanta Falcons EDGE Jalon Walker 16) Arizona Cardinals EDGE Mike Green 17) Cincinnati Bengals OG Donovan Jackson 18) Seattle Seahawks OT Grey Zabel 19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Will Johnson 20) Denver Broncos TE Colston Loveland 21) Pittsburgh Steelers DT Derrick Harmon (Rodgers will be a Steeler; the sportscasters are tedious to listen to, particularly those shows with multiple nimrods talking and arguing at once. Even within that annoying context, the bitching they've been doing about Aaron Rodgers should result in some prison time for some of them, what a bunch of a-holes. And I say that as a massive NON-FAN of Rodgers due to his having been a freakin' Packer for most of his career. Given that at least two of the sports trollcasters were total COVID stooges, I think that may be part of it.) 22) Los Angeles Chargers EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku 23) Green Bay Packers CB Shavon Revel Jr. (they'll add a WR in later rounds) 24) Minnesota Vikings C Seth McLaughlin 25) Houston Texans OT Kelvin Banks Jr. 26) Los Angeles Rams LB Jihaad Campbell 27) Baltimore Ravens EDGE James Pearce Jr. 28) Detroit Lions LB Carson Schwesinger 29) Washington Commanders S Xavier Watts 30) Buffalo Bills WR Ricky White III 31) Kansas City Chiefs OT Josh Conerly Jr 32) Philadelphia Eagles EDGE Nic Scourton 33) Cleveland Browns (Round 2) QB Shedeur Sanders
