Same Old Lions.
They peaked a couple of seasons ago, last season was a pattern disaster, and the NFL kneeling thing pisses me off enough that I'll probably never have any interest in the games ever again. [surfing in the background] They're on Monday Night (ESPN, that's strike two, to mix metaphors) vs the useless and vicious NY Jets? Yeah, that'll go well. What's the current action / score?
48-17?!? Sounds like one of those games where they do everything but fall down and split their pants. The Jets scored 33 points in the 3rd q? Ridiculous. Once again, it looks like the new coach (Matt Patricia; not sure I'd heard about this before) has taken them into a series of rebuilding years.
Only 31 pts, my mistake.
Hey, the Browns TIED the Steelers, Big Ben threw 3 INT (Matt topped that with 4, so far, this game).
Their loss to Dallas was only by two points, their loss to SF was by 3. Today they trampled the Packers, and for the first time in nearly 30 years, have beaten the Packers three straight. I won’t waste hours watching them play, not least because of the NFL’s malfeasance over the kneeling bull**** from the racist left, but I’ve slipped a bit and check scores and standings (oddly enough, some game or other is often on the TV in the lounge at work).
Black & Blue div standings? Chicago leads. I think that’s one of the seven seals. GB retains an overall lead on Detroit, and the big surprise is that the Vikings are in the cellar. GB is 1-1-1 in the division, their tie was with the Vikings (0-0-1, 1-2-1 overall). This isn’t going to last, but Detroit will have to at least split with Chicago to win the division, and probably even to get a wild card berth.
