No more picks for me, my first attempt left me 1 and 3. HOWEVER, the Lions were discussed in terms of postseason by someone on the tube, I had a bit of a "told ya so" snicker about it. Crazy crazy season. Took a bunch of underlines out because the wild card picture has dramatically changed.

Congratulations Detroit Lions!

BTW, kudos to Aaron R, GB QB -- that looked like a cracked radial head when he got knocked in the elbow by a helmet on a hit. Ugly, very painful. And yet, he held on to the ball, monster good play. And, kudos for coming back to finish the game.

For that matter, props to the GB Packers organization and fans for the ecstatic reaction to Brett Favre, you bastards owed him a lot, and booed him when was no longer welcome as a starter and kept trying to compete with another team. Before Brett, the Packers had a really long stretch of not too much success.

Because of what they pulled off on Thanksgiving,

Congratulations Chicago Bears!

Per CBS, 12 teams are probably in, but the other 20 are still alive in the wild card playoff berth hunt!

Congratulations Denver Broncos!

Oh, and BTW,

Hasselbeck!

It's great when the old-timers step in and show the kids how they do things downtown. It's a little painful that he almost be my own child, but anyway...
