The Lions’ offensive play-calling was abominable, and the results show. Yes, the two consecutive BS penalties handed a touchdown to the Eagles, but it wouldn’t have made a difference in the outcome.
Tell me — are you jackasses serious about winning football games, or the division? Or is the whole thing just some kind of fixing scame being run so the Mob can clean up on wagers?
Get your heads out of your asses.
Well, I came in here to put up a post-mortem for the Lions’ miserable collaspse, and after struggling with this crap-pile OS, they recovered a fumble, which is currently being reviewed.
I’ll call it right now — officials in the NFL *always* rule against Detroit. Always.
Having 18 seconds left in regulation and running one stupid play instead of taking a chance on the coin toss should result in some kind of bitch-slap of Schwartz, win or lose.
They rolled the dice on a 2 point conversion and made it, that’s nice. And with a safety they took a 7 point lead.
Then they let it slip off into a tie.
Well, what do you know? Lions ball *after the review*.
Nice drop.
The Lions need to win two games, because the Packers and Bears face each other in week 17, i.e., one of them will have one more win.
Both need to lose today for Detroit to win the division, and that’s assuming that Detroit wins its two remaining games.
3rd and 12.
Of the previous five games, they’ve lost four, and had the lead in the fourth quarter each time. They just said that they had a fourth quarter lead in each of their seven losses this season (so far).
I’m not disappointed — the disappointment receptors in my brain have been burned out by the more than 50 seasons of Lions football I’ve been around.
Ah, Giants are 2nd and 20 on their 29.
Batted pass, 3rd and 20.
Oh, nice D Lions, pass for a big gain by Eli.
Batted down, 2nd down.
Holding penalty.
And did Seattle lose to Arizona AT HOME?!?
