These got a lot of camera time during the game, either live or during timeouts. What a jackass!

(it should also be noted that, after breaking the plane and still not having been downed, Stafford ran into the endzone just to make sure everyone got the point — and that the Lions got the points)

Rod Marinelli still can’t win a game in Detroit.

Johnson catches 2 TD passes as Detroit Lions edge Chicago Bears 21-19 in key NFC North matchup

Johnson had two second-half touchdown receptions, Reggie Bush rushed for 105 yards and the Detroit Lions beat Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears 21-19 on Sunday in a key matchup of NFC North rivals. Johnson broke Moore’s franchise record with his 63rd career touchdown reception with 2:22 to go, giving the Lions a 21-13 lead with a 14-yard grab in the corner of the end zone. He also had a tiebreaking 4-yard TD reception on the first drive in the third quarter... Detroit (6-3) swept the season series against Chicago (5-4). The Lions, Bears and Packers began the day in a three-way tie for the division lead.
Aren't the Packers in their bye week? Or do they play tomorrow? And isn't Rogers out with an injury? I'm not sure how long it has been since Detroit beat the Bears twice in a season.

[phone rings, long conversation, posting resumes] Packers lost to Philly. Philly. Lost to Philly. Second half schedule for the Lions looks pretty promising, even the Green Bay game, or maybe particularly the Green Bay game. A 10-6 finish, or 11-5, or even 12-4, appears within reach. Unless they really screw it up, the Lions are playoff bound but for the Yogi Berra rule (ain't over 'til it's over).
