Having dealt with Florida graduates as an instructor at the U.S. Army Field Artillery School, I would tend to believe the lower rate. The only thing dumber than a 2nd Lieutenant from a Florida school was one from a school in Texas.

You sound like John Kerry. OTOH you're probably an enlisted guy who hates all officers with a southern accent.

I am sorry we have people in our military with such attitudes.

Pfft. I spent twenty years in the Army, retiring a few years ago as a Lieutenant Colonel. I taught at the Field Artillery School and at Penn State University. I was responsible for the test and evaluation of numerous weapon systems that are currently vital to the war in Iraq. I continue to serve as a consultant to the Army's test and evaluation of systems in development. What have you done?

I suggest you dismount your high horse and take a chill pill. My comments are based on experience and I never mentioned anything about an accent. My comments were about the quality of schools in two states. Some of my best friends in service were from southern states. Some of them paid the ultimate price (Granada, Panama, Gander, the Pentagon, Afghanistan, Iraq) and not just in the current conflicts.

Finally, you criticize me saying I sound like Kerry (which if you would have done a search you would have seen my posts on him) and then turn around and berate enlisted people. Real fine. Thanks. Preciate your support.
