You essentially admitted to there being different levels of dangers, based on the vehicle: one for SUVs and one for motorcycles.

Is there another category for compact cars weighing under a certain amount?

I mean, c'mon, something flying at you, out of nowhere, when you're in moving traffic is potentially deadly. It could cause you to jerk the wheel or handlebars unexpectedly, causing a serious accident.

You may have been alive for 30 or 40 or 50 years and never panicked like that. So it makes sense that some people would flip out: their very existence felt seriously compromised, perhaps for the first time in their life -- can you blame them for reacting so strongly?

Oh hell no. You should be able to shoot anyone who may cause you to brake hard, use evasive driving techniques or exercise self-restraint at any time during your lifetime.
If someone serves you lumpy gravy, cap their ass. They endangered you by causing your blood pressure to rise.
Peace up homey. You got it going on. No dissing you bro. Slap the ho silly.
Same mind set as your's but it's said in a different manner.
