Years ago 14 year olds were working and responsible for their actions. Even if the kid had been responsible for killing a dozen innocents with his eggs, the kid would have got off with a slap on the wrists. I don't wish to go to the extreme of Islamic law but individuals need to pay harshly for their aberrant actions. Right now, our country's legal system is a pussy when deterring criminal activities. Thanks Democrats, Liberals, NOW, and bleeding heart people that believe that that crime didn't deserve death..... The fact the crime could have resulted in death was significant and the legal system would not have punished accordingly.
