Plus... it's just fun to say. :-)

another thing. I recently got myself a heart-monitor watch, that links wireless to this little stretchy gizmo that you strap around your chest, and a blood pressure wrist device. As part of my exercising on the bicycle trainer, so I can keep track of some metrics.

I'm trying to figure out how to get it out of "GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW" alarm mode. Yeesh. [just kidding]

But the metrics are alarming. It's one thing to know you're out of shape, but it's quite another be able to measure precise how big a problem that is. [sigh]

Mmmm...gadgets...

Some of the machines at the gym used to measure heart rate using a grip...but I don't think those are nearly as accurate as the kind you've got.

We have like 4 of those. They are great. The new elliptical trainer we just got came with one of the chest straps too. strap. I have one for my bike also that is picked up and displayed on the handlebar computer. Those pluse a couple wristwatch ones for running. They are so very useful for keeping you pushing the limit without burning out.
