muh M917V...
it's the standard Marlin rimfire action... simple... clean...
crowned bull barrel...
don't know if'n yuh can see the barrel is floated...
this is the new Rifle Basix trigger... nice n wide... set to a crisp 1.25 lbs...
muh friend took the liberty of breakin' in the barrel for me... ans wastin' 'bout 20 starlings in the process... I put to rounds thru it when I got home... keyholed two shots at 50 yds... should ba a shooter... I'll let yuh know...
good grief... I can tell I'm tired... spell like an ignoramus...
Very nice.
Love Marlin. My first gun was a Marlin Golden Mountie lever 22 that Dad got me when I was 10. I'm still proud of that thing.
I've been taking more than a passing interest in a Marlin 30-30 lever lately. Can't really explain that.
Very nice piece. A walnut stock is all that's needed to bring it to perfection.
That's a fine looking rifle, great lines and accurate to boot. 1.25 lbs wow, impressive. Sounds like you're all set.
