Actually, the main temp drop (20° or so) happened over about an hour and a half, from 5:00 am to 6:30 am... it's been dropping more slowly since then.

We have road scraper trucks cruising up and down the street...dropping salt, I guess, and waiting for the next round.

Well, okay...maybe not dropping salt. They're driving too fast for that.
