Actually, parts of the car look pretty good. There's some serious rust in spots, but a lot of the car seems to have good paint, with good metal underneath.
BTW, I thought y'all would appreciate my shopping success.
I was at the drugstore picking up a prescription. They had all their Christmas stuff on 75% off clearance. I was mainly looking at wrapping paper. ($0.75 for 50 sq. ft. is a great deal).
But they had two 6 ft. "tinsel trees" that you can set up outside. They were originally $29.99, so 75% off was a good deal. But they rang up at only 50% off.
When she went back to check the receipt, she found that I also had about $14.00 in "customer cash" credits (we buy a LOT of prescriptions).
So, basically, I got $60 worth of decoration for the Stormhands Holiday Extravaganza for...free.
