That's my thinking. We'll do our good-children thing now and then when we've got kids... tough. We'll probably try to do it now and then but Christmas at home meant so much to me as a kid.
I am pretty sure next year we at least won't try visiting both sets the same week. Next Wed. we fly from Pittsburgh back to C.R., and then a couple hours later, to Texas. It's going to be a long day.
I'm assuming it didn't work out/make sense to fly CR to Pittsburgh to Texas?
Unfortunately no... and the Tx leg, we're on two different sets of flights. Talon's dad gave us enough miles to pay for one ticket but it was cheapest to buy the other on a different airline.
At least you aren't in Colorado any more... it's nasty there this week.

You always get bupkis... you're some sortof anti-storm God. That might come in handy :~)
That's what I've heard! I probably would have missed that, though. Since I was in school, we got long christmas breaks and I would have left town after my last final.
Haven't had a flake of snow here. It's not very Christmasy.
No snow in sight here either... just another wind storm Christmas Eve... ~bites nails~
I've been told that sometimes I get invited to meetings just because I have a "calming effect" on people. Heh.
I hadn't considered the weather angle before. Maybe I can rent this service out. :-)
Yeah but we have been getting rain for a the last day and a half and more expected. If it was just a few degrees cooler.... We need snow.

So bored. I have my time in for this week but I am waiting to hear from a couple people before I take off for the year.
No snow here for Christmas. S'posed to be in the 40s and 50s. Rain likely on Christmas Day.
