As a man, I prefer manly cats...short dense hair, deep meow voice, fools around a lot, long face--not that pushed in Pug face...you know, a GUY'S cat.

One of my two (she's a Himalayan/Siamese cross) will stalk the vacuum cleaner as soon as it's shut off. Hunts it, runs up and smacks it, and then takes off and hides.
Her way of getting back at it for being so irritatingly noisy, I guess. ;-)
