Not really. It assumes the road is ridable at 80. And if so, it's like going 40 in your car. 80 simply isn't fast on one of these bikes.
I have to disagree. I'll add that it depends not only on the road, but the bike.
Clingmans Dome Road, Little River Road, Hwy. 441, Newfound Gap Road, all in the Smokies, are "ridable at 80", but 80 can nevertheless be classified as "screaming", especially if you're trying to throw a 1000+ cc flatliner through those curves.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen one of the "fashion boys" on their superbikes navigating that road with anything other than comic ineptitude. Heck, old fashioned Yamaha 350 and 400 2-strokes and Ducati Desmos (of which there are still quite a few in and around Knoxville) handle those roads better.
