Motorcycles are inherently dangerous,

More people are injured taking a shower every year. What do you propose we do about THAT?

Before I'd agree that you had a point, I'd have to see data on severity of injuries, fatalities, and age of the injured.

"What do you propose we do about THAT?"

Don't know exactly what your point is supposed to be, since I didn't propose that we "do anything" about motorcycles.

However, since I was a boy I've thought America should build more rational bathing facilities. Living in Japan just solidified that opinion.

The elderly might be safer if they stepped two inches down into the shower, rather than having to climb into what we laughingly call a "bathtub" in this country. A little non-skid and handrails might help, too.

That said, I absolutely oppose any regulations requiring these things.
