My reference to my one speeding ticket (on a bike) is relevant simply to show that one can be a biker without being an idiot.

Many traffic are intended to generate revenue, but not most. You're too emotional about this.

A killjoy is someone who prevents another from experiencing joy. I've not prevented you from doing anything. If joy is riding 180 MPH on an open road, you need a new perspective.

If your stunt (most guys are past their perception of invincibility by 26) was not arrogant and stupid, how would you describe it, now that you are older and, presumably, wiser?

And when you die, eternity: smoking or non-smoking?

Indeed you are a killjoy.

At age 26 I enjoyed the power and speed and handling of that Ninja. It was significantly better than the other bikes I had been riding up to that point.

While you may consider such activities as buzzing the police at 170mph idiotic, I considered it fun, and still relish the enjoyment I had doing it.

And when you die, eternity: smoking or non-smoking?

Have you ever read Milton?
