Well, I understand that as a [self-confessed] New Yorker you might be desperate to get rid of hillary, even by kicking her upstairs. [I used to live in NY (Rochester) myself, so I could identify with it, to an extent]. Still, you ought to consider the greater good. Where is your sense of civic duty? [high time for me to mount the high moral ground and start noisily and grandiloquently farting from there on those below]. Falwell had a point when he said that even Lucifer would be preferable. And Giuliani is no Lucifer. Thus the choice criteria is NOT who's the best candidate but who stands the best chance of keeping hillary away from WH silverware.
9/11 made Rudy Giuliani. Most of what he accomplished prior to that he owed to able subordinates who he then forced out, when they got some ink [Bratton]. Everything else was about micromanagement [further centralizing the Board of Ed under one of his drones]. If you look up "anal retentive" [or is it compulsive?] in the dictionary, you'll see Rudy's picture. He's pro-gay, pro-abortion, anti-second amendment, and an egotist second to only Hillary. If he is the GOP's answer to 2008, God save the Republic and the rest of us.
