I never heard of this guy until today.

Same here. Heck you'd think that the MSM would embrace his lifestyle.

Someone should tell Faggard that lying is a sin, right up there with BFing and meth-binging.

Before you throw your chosen stone, try waiting for the facts to come in (such as the failed polygraph of his homosexual accuser).

Over the past weekend, we had up to 7 people die of drug overdose and Police think is was bad meth. Two people were brother and sister. When you map the deaths, they are spread out all over the city.

Actually, this Haggard fellow demonstrates the danger in establishing higher levels of governance or associations in religious organizations.

The congregations really don't have control over these guys in their ministerial and other associations, yet when they go over the cliff the people in the congregations are always blamed.

The best bet is to eliminate minsterial associations, and where they already exist, self-perpetuationg church hierarchies.

Neither had I. But, in the tradition of, if it bleeds, it leads" be prepared for several days of this.

What does go through people's minds?

They think all the evangelicals will be devastated and stay home and/or vote democrat. Apparently they think that one idiot's sins brings shame on ALL Evangelicals. At least that is what the MSM is hoping for. Boy will they be surprised on Election day.

The Liberals are always telling us homosexual behavior is nobody's business but that of the willing participants, and the same for private use of hard narcotics.

Isn't it a little late for the Dems and Libs to tell us they've changed their minds?

Or, have they all become Fundies ~ you know, like they did in the Foley case ~ regular "snake handling" Fundies too who were telling people that if they didn't give up their sinful Republican ways they'd all go to hell.

BTW, Islam prescribes the death penalty for "hypocrites". Saying that just so you'll know what the Dems are calling for when a Conservative sins ~

This sounds like a last minute MSM/RAT November Surprise, since it just led off the ABC news. Pretty weak, considering most nobody ever heard of the guy.

IMO, they're worried...

Sounds like BS to me.

It does sound odd. Why would anyone even be tempted to buy crystal methane unless they had a drug problem in the past? There is more to the story. I tend to think this pastors version is closer to the truth than the homo prostitute drug dealer who is probably trying to make a name for himself and influence the vote.

I saw the news about the guy (who I had not heard of until today) on Drudge's site this morning and paid no attention to it. Didn't even think this would be such "big news" as to merit top billing on the newsbreaks on kabc talk show.

Wow, that story seems like a stretch. Crystal Meth has been the drug of choice in the homosexual community.

I doubt that a lot of liberals attended his church in the first place. They would probably welcome him with open arms now, what with his current propensities.

Hey, I know what he means, I got a basement fulla stash I paid for. Almost as good a feeling as handing out money to hookers without asking for anything in return.
