The 'marks' would be bona fides. And she was hoping that her pimp would go easy on her when he found out she lost her money and/or got shorted. It's a cinch the pimp would 'put marks on her."

I can think of 3 senarios:

1. she was going to claim to here pimp that the lacrosse players beat her and took the money to avoid a further beating.

2. Roberts was stealing her money and she wanted evidence for the pimp to avoid a further beating.

3. she was planing to cry rape already and wanted marks to back up here story.

Personally, I think a combo of 1 & 2 were the story. The crying rape only became necessary later to get out of involuntary committment.

It's not that convoluted, see my post above.

It is a natural response among those kinds of people when someone is pi$$ing them off, or they feel threatened.

Kim got scared, because she has a record, and if Mangum took out a warrant on her for hit, bruising etc. Kim would be in trouble.

If what Kim is saying is true.

.....or it was in the form of a threat........"Go ahead, leave marks on me (my "Man" will deal with you later)."
