Oh, I beg to differ with your pessimism there. Too much press attention on this case & too many people who would be expected to defend his suspicious prosecution of this case are now jumping ship. (60 minutes, case in point.)

He knows he's in trouble & he knows he's gonna have to come up with a story for a jury in at the very least a civil court which will explain to them why he was willing to press charges which were obviously bogus from the get go.His defense now: I didn't even bother to interview her so how could I have known her story changed every three days?

I s'pose we'll have to wait to see how this plays out, but, tell ya what, I'll buy ya some of that funky NC BBQ if he doesn't land in at least civil court over this.
