Ussher was the Anglican Archbishop of all Ireland and the sole remaining Loyalist bishop still preaching in his own country during the Cromwell regime.
He was probably the most important Anglican churchman in the period of 1575-1850.

Looks like Neanderthal man never existed. The last Ice Age never occurred, and the 7500 year old pottery must have been made by the devil.
Of course, it's entirely possible that God made the world yesterday and planted our minds with false memories of what happened before.
