You have a tremendous website. I recommend all FReepers check it out -- especially if you have children in public schools. The card you have is wonderful. The link to the ACLU civil rights card is outdated.

The "pledge" we were all forced to sign in the Student Handbook, signs away all of our rights and we were too ignorant to know it. I wondered why our attorney just mumbled over his answer to our question on how a school district could side-step Constitutional rights. Now, I know. Be very careful what you sign.

Thanks for reporting the bad link. I'll get on it.

Meantime, it's too bad the Duke Lacosse players didn't see this video (link below) otherwise the outcome would have been very different for them. I encourage every citizen to see it.

Disclaimer: I'm not an ACLU fan nor am I in favor of the possession of illegal drugs nor am I a proponent of wild parties. However, if you, or someone you love is in the wrong place at the wrong time, it's a trip in the paddy wagon along with everyone else unless you know how to behave in favor of your rights. Please circulate this link!

Here's the updated link to the "Bustcard". It's in Adobe Acrobat format.
