“If they’re acquitted, their lives are not ruined.”

From what planet does this genius hail? In what bubble does he exist? Is that a quote he expects his readers to accept the way Kim Robert's shrugged off her actions with, "If they're innocent they should just brush off the shoulders and move on." What lunatics have we educated? Tell that to the parents who have to foot the bills for the defense. Tell that to the taxpayers who have to mount a prosecution. Tell that to the minority of people who will feel that justice hasn't been served and decide to go outside the system with their own brand of justice. What kind of nuts do these media sources employ?

What a neophyte, naive, cavalier, horseshit idea of the world.

Nonsense. Ask them how they feel about their lives now! Their lives were drastically ruined overnight by some very spiteful nasty lying people with an agenda.

I agree. Unfortunately, that was the very last thing he said in response to the very last question and as soon as the words left his mouth the moderator closed the meeting. No one got the chance to challenge him.

To be fair to the moderator. there was another panel that was supposed to meet after us that had been waiting patiently outside the door.
