Broadhead and Nifong remind me for some reason of guys who were picked on by jocks and rejected by girls in high school and carried their grudge to the point of obsession and now saw their chance to stick it to them.

There was no reason whatsoever to drop the whole lacrosse season, not with the commitment made to other teams and with the many guys willing to play as walk-ons. Some of will disagree with me, but IMHO Broadhead and Nifong are worse that just incompetent and stupid.
