"courage of their convictions" -- how well I remember that phrase, I was raised on it by both my mother and my father, and I did my best to raise my son on it, too. It seems so odd today to read another saying it. It used to be the way life was, and the writer is right -- this abomination is the result of the marriage of the ME generation and the PC crowd. What an ugly child they gave birth to. For the first time in my almost 60 years I feel old. My silly, young-at-heart, play-baby life seems like dry dust. We must win or there will be no reason to be young-at-heart anymore.

Joan said it best :

Even those of us outside the real circle of pain of this case, even those of us just reading, or posting, or blogging about the case...even we have lost something, I fear. How can you read about the injustice, the betrayal, the casual lies and misrepresentations...the cowardice and callous agenda baiting...and still remain unchanged. I think you can't.

Sadly for you, CG--you have been in the "real circle of pain" I hope you find comfort when justice is finally done here.
