Sweden has always been sexually liberal, as has Germany, and now most of Europe. I have several years of personal experience because I lived there, I saw, I watched and I learned.. Then I compared.

Most deviant porn (and there is such a thing) is manufactured for American consumption....And that's that.

Those countries with legal prostitution have little violent sex crime of any kind..

I have no idea what you consider deviant behavior, but when children die and women are killed after being violently raped, I personally consider this deviant behavior. It happens that this occurs much more frequently here....not there....

Sex and violence do not belong together. However, we(the U.S.) are plum full up with it.

It seems pretty easy for one to draw logical conclusions. But that's just me.....

They also encourage child porn. But that's okay to all porn lovers.

Remember porn lovers have no morals. They universally hate women.

Sorry, you are all wrong. You are confusing correlation with cause, and your personal observations and wishes are not scientific proof.

Sweden has not always been sexually liberal and certainly not in the smaller towns and villages. And most of the deviancy is not in the conservative areas.

Those who rape and murder woman and children in this country have in the great majority, if not nearly always, started with porn. Porn demeans relationships, destroys children. No child should be allowed to perform or watch it. MP>You just sound like part of the porn lobby.

Here is an example of the current "little violent sex crimes" that are happening in Germany. It seems that your definition of "little" is well....disturbing.

High profile crimes and scandals

There was a murder of six persons in an exclusive brothel in Frankfurt am Main in 1994. The Hungarian couple managing the place as well as four Russian prostitutes were strangled with electric cables. The case was resolved soon after: it was a robbery gone bad, carried out by the boyfriend of a woman who had worked there.

In 2003, Michael Friedman, popular TV talk show host and assistant chairman of the German Jewish community, became embroiled in an investigation of trafficking in women. He had been a client of several escort prostitutes from Eastern Europe who testified that he had repeatedly taken and offered cocaine. After receiving a fine for the drug charge, he resigned his posts.

Also in 2003, well-known artist and art professor Jörg Immendorff was caught in the luxury suite of a Düsseldorf hotel with seven prostitutes (and four more on their way) and some cocaine. He received 11 months on probation and a fine for the drug charges. He attempted to explain his actions by his "orientalism" and his terminal illness.

Congressman Accuses Germany of "Complicity in Promoting Sex Trafficking" (UPDATE)

Posted by Joerg W in Transatlantic Relations on Tuesday, May 23. 2006

Congressman Christopher Smith, chairman of the human rights subcommittee, held a hearing to investigate Germany's World Cup Brothels, because "40,000 women and children [are] at risk of exploitation through trafficking":

An estimated 3 million fans from around the world will attend the games, and vast numbers of them are expected to buy sex as a form of entertainment. As many as 40,000 additional women are expected to be added to the approximately 400,000 women in Germany’s sex industry. Germans are accommodating the trade in women by facilitating the construction of mega-brothels and "sex huts," and cities hosting the games will issue special permits for street prostitution, creating a virtual partnership with brothel owners, pimps and traffickers.....

This year, thousands of teenage girls, very few past the age of consent, will arrive in Germany from Turkey for arranged marriages and lives of domestic servitude enforced by tradition, isolation and fear. It's a thriving one-way trade that has been going on for more than three decades, and it sits at the core of Europe's greatest predicament today: the widening gulf between an increasingly postmodern society and its often premodern immigrants.

Stopping human trafficking was one of the reasons that Germany legalized prostitution. The logic was that by legitimizing the trade, it would become safer and healthier. But a United Nations report on human trafficking released last month still rated Germany "very high" as a destination for women forced into sex work, and some of those who supported legalization are reconsidering.
