Europe is being overtaken by Muslims because Europeans are no longer producing enough children to sustain their population.
People who intentionally limit their reproduction are handing their future over to the Muslims, who aren't.
There is no practical difference between ceding the future to Islam and converting to Islam. One is still helping them to gain the ascendancy over the West.

As I said, it's nutz to make that kind of statement. There is NO comparison between birth control and converting to ISLAM! That's just "your opinion," which, of course, you're entitled to but, it's still nutz, and THAT is my opinion. Long before we are faced with that problem, one or more Muslim countries may be nuked off the face of the earth, so it's ridiculous say that we are going to have to convert to ISLAM!
I can't believe I am going to say this. But what about Western countries like Mexico and Brazil. They have about 2/3rd our population but have a higher grouwth rate.
Or are you only considering Europe and the USA as Western countries?

Using contraception is NOT in essence the same as converting to Islam.
Your so called logic isn't valid.
So to you a young couple not ready for children are ceding the world to Islam?
Or a couple trying to plan and space their children are ceding the world to Islam?
Or an older couple no longer wanting to raise children ceding the world to Islam?
Or women who risk health consequences from pregnancy and use birth control are ceding the world to Islam?
And anyone who isn't married and doesn't want children are ceding the world to Islam?
With enough of these 'exceptions' to your rule, the rule no longer rules.

If you wanted to argue that a European who has a vasectomy is ceding the long term future of his continent to the moslems, I suppose you would at least have the basis of an argument. It's a twisting of Steyn's argument, but at least the germ is there. Though from the perspective of that individual, his personal decision to have a vasectomy won't make any difference at all.
But with respect to this country, you can't even make that argument, because was are not drowning in a sea of hyper-fertile moslems. It's the other continent that's got that problem.
