Foley misidentified as (D-FL) on O'Reilly last night? (Vanity)
Posted on 10/05/2006 11:02:23 AM PDT by SlayerOfBunnies
I have a coworker that swears he saw on O'Reilly last night that Foley's name was mis-identified with a (D-FL) rather than an (R-FL). Did anyone else see this or hear anything about it?

Yeah, Drudge had something about that recently.

I don't think it was on O'Reilly but Fox had a graphic that had (D-Florida) behind his name.
It was changed quickly. I think a photo was on Drudge and there is one here on FR as well.

(Seriously, if it REALLY were a religion of PEACE, would they have to label it as such?)

If Foley was smart that is what he would have done. Foley could have switched parties and then been a hero! The Democrats welcome pedophiles as representatives of their party.

Yes and the Daily Show pointed it out as well. Did not correct it, just pointed it out.

People usually assume a queer and not having republican high lighted means a democrat.

Yup, saw it. I figured the MSM would use it to slam FOX.

Someone at work mentioned that they also saw that on Fox Foley was identified as a (D). Maybe O'Reilly's program execs thought they were correcting Foley's mistake in party affiliation.

I saw it. I figured it might be a mistake, but you never know.

Would've raised the moral caliber of BOTH parties if Foley had switched from Republican to Democrat.

For what it's worth, I see misspellings and mistakes on Fox's "ticker" all the time. Freakin' interns. ;-)
