DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- The mother of a boy abducted 24 years ago said she's bewildered by two photographs left at her front door, apparently showing her son and two other children bound and gagged.

I remember seeing a tv movie based on a true story about a young boy kidnapped by such scum in California when he was 7 or so. As he grew older, the filth who took him got him to procure younger boys. Despite being trapped in this life for years, he finally rebelled, turned the younger children loose and returned home to his family. It was amazing to see the degree of pure, absolute evil shown by the garbage who took these children. My solution is to turn the perps loose in a max prison in the exercise yard.
I Think My Name Is Timmy was the movie written about that. He later was killed in a motorcycle accident after having a hard time acclimating to his former life
I dont understand something. Why would an adult NOT return to his mother and family? Why does he not want to have a DNA test to prove one way or another?
If he was part of some large organized sex ring, he would probably be able to identify people, etc. Maybe he was told his loved ones would be hurt if he opened his mouth.
Child sexual abuse is probably the worst thing someone could do to another human being in terms of the negative affects on that abused person's life. You might want to do a little reading on it, but I can see where an adult who was exposed to this as a child, and even made to participate in the abuse of other children would have a very hard time going back to his family.
I think the article also mentioned that the young man participated in other crimes, and was also afraid that whoever he might be exposing by coming forward would want to kill him. So, lots of reasons.
If you read Jayna Davis' book about the Oklahoma City bombing you will know that the true story has been hidden in plain view.
That boy returned to his family and was later killed in a motorcycle accident. His younger brother is the one who murdered the tourists in Grand Canyon a few years ago.
oops, maybe not Grand Canyon but a national park out west. Memory fails me at the moment.

It may be him, but maybe he turned his captors in and now he's in protective custody. The pictures are weird. Maybe "someone" is trying to draw the "kid" out into the open. Maybe I read too many books. ;)
The TV Movie was called "I Know My Name is Steven". It is about Steven Stayner.
Read it, believed it. Hard to know where the truth ends and tinfoil hats begin.
I think it was Carrie Stayner and Yosemite.
Jeff Gannon is a name I haven't thought of in a while.
Regardless, whoever does/did this to these children deserves to be publically strung up and hung by the neck until dead.

On my birthday... I received a package with the following pictures inside. The first photo is of my son Johnny, shortly after he was kidnapped on Sept. 5th, 1982. He was still wearing the clothing he had on the day he was taken. He is bound and gagged. The second photo is three boys all bound gagged... the boy on the far right is my son, Johnny. We do not have the identity of the other two boys. We are currently working with the police and the National Center for Missing Children in hopes of learning the identity of the other two boys. There are two families who would probably like to have news of their children. If anyone viewing the second photo knows who these boys are, please contact me.

Actually, I've been watching the HBO series Rome and Caesar had the King of the Gauls publicly garrotted by an ingenious machine for far less transgressions than these monsters have done. I think it would be a fitting and proper sentence for whoever did this unspeakable evil to this child and his family.
