HEADLINE

Was the purpose of the testing to detect controlled substances?

We know it wasn't, it was to detect Date Rape drugs.

But, it doesn't stop the News and Observer. Every Headline is biased in that paper.

"shows ...was free" is different than "none were found".

The headline explicitly says that the test PROVES that the FA had no controlled substances in her body.

But - how can they come to that conclusion unless they know what the hair was tested for?

Melanie is pretty slippery about what her headlines say and don't say, but this one is just dead wrong.
