Oh yeah - I should say I don't think she is insane though - not the way the law defines insanity, anyway. I think she understands the difference between right and wrong.

I seriously doubt the AV knows the difference between right and wrong, but she's otherwise generally non-violent and living in a family setting, albeit a poor one.

Remember, you don't have to be psychotic to be totally out of your nut, particularly with modern pharmaceutical miracles allowing seriously mentally ill people to function outside a hospital setting.
